Sony Ericsson Naite is the mobile phone which has become quite popular in the recent times. This phone is the true illustration of technology with a social responsibility to save the environment. The reason why I am writing this is because this phone is made from recycled plastic. So this is another gift to us from the Greenheart series of Sony Ericsson which has now become a cynosure of all eyes.

I am an environmentalist myself and in todays tough times when due to rising toxic emission levels and high energy consumption, it looks as if we are running towards the doomsday. As mobile phones can be hailed as the most sought after gadgets in the market today, big companies has to take some concrete steps like Sony Ericsson has done by manufacturing this incredible gizmo called “Sony Ericsson Naite Greenheart.”

So after going through number of online shopping web portals I finally bought this phone with an Orange connection. This contract phone is very light as well and weighs 84 gms which also include the batteries as well. The overall dimensions of this phone is 10.8cm by 4.7 cm by 1.26 cm. This phone is light and easy to carry as well as I wanted to buy a light and a compact phone.

Sony Ericsson Naite is a mobile phone which has almost all the technologies embedded in it . Its 2.2 inches TFT screen imparts 256K colors with a ecstatic resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The phone internal memory is of 100 MB which can be expandable to a mammoth 8 GB by the use of a micro SD card.

Alongwith that, the phone is a quad band 3G phone which runs on HSCSD technology. The other data technologies that strengthen the technological foothold of this phone are GPRS, Edge, Bluetooth by which connectivity has become a piece of cake.

The 2megapixel camera with a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, clicks beautiful images and it also has a feature of videocalling as well. The video can be recorded at a speed of 15fps. The messaging facilities includes SMS, MMS, Push Email, email, RSS as well. The phone has an inbuilt Stereo FM radio and to add on to its profile,it also has ecological features like Ecomate, CO2 calculator and an E-manual. To further accentuate its worthiness, its battery consumes less amount of energy and gives a standby of 600 hours and 583 hours in 2G and 3G respectively. The talktime battery is up to 13 h 45 min in 2G and 4 h 30 min in 3G. I am a music lover myself and this sound quality is impeccable. The phone supports Bluetooth stereo A2DP adaptor, MegaBass sound feature, PlayNow and TrackID music recognition by which one can hear soulful music.

So, Sony Ericsson Naite, is a complete phone technologically with an ecological bend to it!!!!
